Leaving YouTube and the classroom for a real product
Yimaru already had demand — students found them on YouTube and showed up in person — but there was no product around the teaching.
The problem
Video on YouTube and live sessions could not track progress, sell enrolments, or give instructors one place to publish.
The solution
We built a course tree with categories, sub-courses, video lessons, and assessments, then shipped an Android app so learners could study on their phones.
Impact
Teaching moved into a product students download, with 5,000 installs in the first two months.
